Plasma Energy (Plexr)

Information on plasma energy (Plexr)

Plexr is a device that uses plasma energy to create a controlled, focal thermal effect on the skin surface. The treatment area and objective are determined by examination; it is not equivalent to surgical blepharoplasty or another surgical procedure.

Publications on upper-eyelid procedures have small samples and are mostly observational. One study frequently reported post-procedure edema and itching and noted that expectations and satisfaction may change over time. Pain, redness, crusting, temporary swelling, infection, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and scarring are possible. Incorrect application around the eye also carries a risk of serious injury.

This text is intended for general information and is not personalized diagnostic or treatment advice. Eligibility is determined after a medical history and examination. Outcomes may vary from person to person; a specific result cannot be guaranteed.
