Is Botox good for headaches?

Botox procedure called "Botulinum toxin" is applied as a new treatment method in chronic migraine patients. Botox is a natural protein produced by a certain type of bacteria. Protein is extracted from bacteria and specially prepared before use. It can be applied to patients who have a headache for at least 15 days a month, who use excessive medication to relieve the pain, and whose headache cannot be controlled despite 2 months of treatment. Botox treatment is thought to indirectly prevent the development of migraine by blocking pain signals.
